Transport and the Climate

Happy to share the next set of articles that deals with how we move and it’s impact on the climate:

We start with a general overview of why care and how big an impact transport has on the climate
We then moved on the how, given the world is becoming increasingly urban, we should consider what impact transport in an urban context has on us and our climate:
We then considered why the bus represents the best hope (as opposed to the metro) in most Indian cities and looked at a few good case examples.
We then looked at ways we could make our own driving more “eco-friendly”:
Ending with Greenwashing: the fable that electric cars represent a solution for the transport issue. In a country like India with a primarily coal powered grid, that’s not just useless, it’s harmful.
